Mortgage Crisis for Dummies. A Handbook for Obama.

Obama, who is at fault for the mortgage crisis? Huh? Louder. Take a look here.

Five years ago, The New York Times reported on the Bush Administration's efforts to reform Fannie and Freddie.

Who, pray tell, thwarted those efforts?

My former party - the party of NO principles. The party that took an unknown, unvetted, undeniably unqualified Senator to the heights of adulation. That same Senator is now denouncing the Republican party as the cause of our current subprime mortgage crisis.

I submit this proposal to you. Sen. Obama? Give back all monies given to you for YOUR home by convicted felon and your confidante, Tony Rezko. Live in the community you claim to have "organized." Give up your mock throne. Let the Republicans run the country and keep us secure, for the ONLY Democrat who is able to lead us is Sen. Hillary Clinton. Since her rub-out, Dem mob style, we might as well hand the reigns to the GOP who know something about national security. Econ 101? Obama, time to return to your Dummie books.

The Blame Game. Score: Obama- Zero

Let's play the Blame Game.

Wall Street collapses.
Democrats blame Republicans aka Bush administration.
Obama has hijacked the Democratic party, south side style.
The country is in crisis, potentially creating a situation whereby payrolls cannot be met, credit cannot be lent, homes must be vacated, atm's will be dry.

How did this happen to America?

Let us use our virtual time machine to travel back four years as we enter the Freddie and Fannie Zone. Hearsay and accusations are quick to fly, and in this election cycle where Obamamites are burrowing into the skin of duped American's, I offer you the "proof is in the pudding" video.
Reminder: Who is Franklin Raines? Now deposed and disgraced former chairman and ceo of Fannie Mae, "sometime" economic adviser to, YOU GUESSED IT, Obama.

So, as all of us NOBAMA consigliaries know, racism is used to decry our foul call.
Sorry, not this time, not ever, NOBAMA.

Raines, Obama and the Media
By Jack Kelly

The Washington Post is a "pretty flimsy" source of information, two Post hotshots declared in an effort to diminish a politically uncomfortable association for Sen. Barack Obama.

Franklin Raines, CEO of the Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae) from 1999-2004, is the individual most responsible for the subprime mortgage crisis. It was on Mr. Raines' watch that Fannie Mae went bankrupt.

He was accused of manipulating earnings statements so he could be paid bonuses to which he was not entitled.
In July, Mr. Raines was interviewed by Anita Huslin, a business reporter for the Washington Post.

"In the four years since he stepped down as Fannie Mae's chief executive under the shadow of a $6.3 billion accounting scandal, Franklin D. Raines has been quietly constructing a new life for himself," Ms. Huslin's story began. "He has shaved eight points off his golf handicap, taken a corner office in Steve Case's D.C. conglomeration of finance, entertainment and health care companies and, more recently, taken calls from Barack Obama's presidential campaign seeking his advice on mortgage and housing matters."

Sen. John McCain pounced. In an ad Sep. 18, he said: "Obama has no background in economics. Who advises him? The Post says it's Franklin Raines, for 'advice on mortgage and housing policy.' Shocking. Under Raines, Fannie Mae committed 'extensive financial fraud.' Raines made millions. Fannie Mae collapsed. Taxpayers? Stuck with the bill."

The Obama campaign rushed out statements by Mr. Raines denying he had offered Sen. Obama advice, and by Sen. Obama denying he had sought it.

Who was the source for Ms. Huslin's assertion that the Obama campaign had solicited Mr. Raines' advice? Mr. Raines himself.

"I asked Huslin to provide the exact circumstances of that passage," wrote Michael Dobbs, who writes the Post's Fact Checker blog. "She said she was chatting with Raines during the photo shoot, and asked 'if he was engaged at all with the Democrats' quest for the White House. He said that he had gotten a couple of calls from the Obama campaign. I asked him about what, and he said, Oh, general housing, economy issues.'"

But that conversation is "pretty flimsy" evidence, Mr. Dobbs said. "The McCain campaign is clearly exaggerating wildly in attempting to depict Franklin Raines as a close adviser to Obama," he said.

Howard Kurtz, the Post's media writer, said: "(Raines) has never been a close adviser to Obama."

The McCain campaign never said he was. The only description in the ad of the Obama-Raines relationship is a direct quote from Ms. Huslin's story. To diminish the impact on Sen. Obama of the disclosure of an unsavory association, Mr. Dobbs and Mr. Kurtz distorted what Sen. McCain actually said.

The furious efforts of Mr. Dobbs and Mr. Kurtz to spin on behalf of Sen. Obama at the expense of their own newspaper are hilarious. But they were topped by Karen Tumulty of Time magazine, who said the McCain ad was "racist" because both Sen. Obama and Mr. Raines are black.

"Sinister images of two black men, followed by one vulnerable looking elderly white woman," she wrote.
Proof the ad is racist, Ms. Tumulty said, is because it doesn't mention "a far more significant tie -- that of Jim Johnson, the former Fannie Mae chairman who had to resign as head of Obama's vice presidential search team."
That's because the McCain campaign devoted a separate ad to Mr. Johnson, Mr. Raines' predecessor at Fannie Mae.

Mr. Johnson and Mr. Raines aren't the only figures in the subprime mortgage scandal to be connected to the Obama campaign. Jamie Gorelick, rumored to be an attorney general candidate in an Obama administration, was vice chairman of Fannie Mae from 1997 to 2003. Penny Pritzker, Mr. Obama's national finance chairman, has been described as "the Michael Milken of the subprime mortage crisis" for her pioneering of the packaging of bad loans with good ones at her now defunct Superior bank in suburban Chicago.

"The financial engineering that created the financial meltdown was developed by the Pritzkers and Ernst and Young, working with Merrill Lynch to sell bonds securitized by sub-prime mortgages," said Timothy Anderson, a retired bank consultant.

These connections -- and Mr. Raines' own words -- contradict the notion he was the peripheral figure to the Obama campaign Mr. Dobbs, Mr. Kurtz and Ms. Tumulty would like you to believe.

"I no longer trust the major newspapers or television networks to provide consistently accurate and fair reporting of all the charges and counter-charges," wrote Stuart Taylor in the National Journal Sep. 20.

CONNECT THE DOTS AKA FANNIE MEETS OBAMA

Stop, Drop, and Roll your eyes in amazement.
He who doth protest is the very subject of guilt.

Obama Attempts to Conspire with Iraqi Official. "It's OK, What's a few more lives lost to guarantee an election win?"

There is no need to be amusing or clever with this post. This is too serious and dire a matter and must be brought to the attention of as many voters as possible. Yet again, the Jr. Senator from Illinois has committed a most egregious and possibly felonious act to benefit himself. After all, it is ALL about HIM.

What you are about to read is a piece of journalism, not broadcast media hype skewed by the liberals ( I used to be one of those libs). The New York Post has tanked for the Jr. Senator, yet they have abandoned their usual bias to publish a frightening reminder of the man who would be king.

This dastardly Chicago machine must be stopped. The Jr. Senator who has served approx. 185 days in that role, has attempted to sway foreign policy to benefit the outcome of the presidential election. According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for a delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July. The delay refers to TROOP WITHDRAWAL, the very theme of the Jr. Senator's entire campaign of atrocities.
The Foreign Minister further states, " He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the U.S. elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington," Zebari said in an interview.

I sit here appalled and sickened, as I have felt through much of this fraudulent election cycle. However, this transcends and trumps every other scurrilous and despicable act of the man we MUST STOP from entering the oval office.

To risk the lives of more troops and Iraqi citizens for the messiah's own sake defies all decency and humanity.

You may not agree with all that the McPalin ticket proposes, but I offer you this as a Sen. Clinton supporter who will proudly vote for the GOP this year....Can we afford to diminish our national security and place our beloved country in the hands of a narcissistic despot? We do not need grandiose verbosity, we need patriotism. Obama must be stopped, NOW.

P.U.M.A aka Palin Usurps Media Aholes

Well friends, it's been awhile. The daily grind of our lives keeps bobbing and weaving whilst the nasty lil folks who inhabit the boxes in our homes keep emitting propaganda signals. After the faux acclamation at the Denver convention, I waited with the millions of "thinkers" in our fine land, for Sen. McCain's veep pick. To not be disillusioned after gag orders were placed on delegates prior to the actual roll call for Hillary, is to be infinitely stupid. I have convinced myself that my synapses fire just fine, so it can't only be me who was filled with revulsion whilst watching Hillary's lil face make her way through the delegate crowd to announce her delegate release. Intravenous venom is too kind a punishment for the corrupt party leaders who led my former party, the democraps, into the abyss. So, who would make headlines? After all, something has to ease the pain of 18 million pillaged voters.

And along came Sarah.

And along came Sarah-gate.

And the perpetrators are the left wing media Obama junkies who fear the maverick choice of a not so well known but very popular Governor of Alaska. Will she garner Hillary's swing votes? Dare I say, Hillary's P.U.M.A voters? Sure, we moderates do not necessarily ascribe to many of Gov. Palin's social stances, but in this time of economic crisis and constant threat of terrorism ( hey, I'm from NY.......don't tell me it's fear mongering), I'm not going to lose sleep over R vs. W, especially when a Dem congress will call the shots. Mind you, their approval rating reminds me of Mayor Guilani's after he married Dame Judy, but all in all, no one is overturning anything. Nice try, MSM. Have any more ammo?

So I reconcile myself to a Romney-less campaign, and come to think of it, does Sen. McCain really need an East Coast elitist? Hope and change ( gag) would require a veep to come out of a pool that has not been polluted. He found her. We waited with great anticipation for the speech that would launch a zillion votes. Babe Ruth pointed to the outfield and slammed a homer for a sick child, because he made a promise. Gov. Palin pointed to the camera with her face and slammed an unsuspecting and unsettling Obama, because she and Sen. McCain are making a promise to protect and defend our great nation. She broke the bat, she rounded the bases, and as she slid into home, the stadium cheered and cried with ebullient tears of relief. SHE IS THE ONE WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR. Oh, sweet irony.
I will always worship my queen, Hillary of the Rodham Clintons. She has opened the door, awakened a country of sleepy women, and for that she will rise to heights only dreamed of. However, we cannot undo the wrongs, we can only revamp and punish those who committed the atrocities. This one's for you, our Hillary. We give you Gov. Sarah Palin, who found her way into the spotlight due to you leaving the light on for her, and so many others to come.
Take your smears. Sleep with your hatred of strong women. Face the facts.
We gave birth to you, and we're not going silently into that good night.
Yes, we've come a long way baby, but we've still got some miles to go.

Oh fearless Senator from NY, you raised the bar, and Sarah will follow your lead until we see you in your rightful home in 2012. You are our Eleanor Roosevelt, and for that, 51 percent of the U.S. population thanks you. With love.
